An experiment that probes different visual ideals within the representation of 'landscapes' in generative image optimisation processes in smartphone camera systems, and explores the potential to optimise towards different ideals through working with 'small' datasets that can be ethically collated. This experiment also explored ways to operate generative models locally on individual smartphones, rather than remotely in data centres.
